I would assume it would, the HM Minsi III has the pilot

It comes with a standing figurine, whereas Minsi had a seated pilot..

I think (if I remember right) that figure is from a widely published photo of Vracui - where, during the "Turkey Shoot" he is telling a group of other pilots how many he shot down - i.e. the fingers he is holding up.

Anyone have that image they could scan and add to this thread????

I was inspired by Alex Vracui's background and tried to immortalize him in 1/6 scale and here's the result.

NOTE: I took a bit of artistic license in creating my mini naval aviator bash of Mr.Vracui figure. Likeness was never the intention, so it was
just a tribute to him.

So the production version doesn't have that odd dip of dark blue into the cowl? This picture shows it as a strait line, but other pics show the dip. I'm lost now.

If this is what HM is doing - matching historic photos to the famous pilots of their models - I think this is GREAT! That's truly an added, extra touch in the complete execution of the model.
