Just got my beauty in a crap box

Last edited by Shawn 507 : 04-04-2007 at 03:15 PM.
Received the HM Bush Avenger today and wow. I really love it despite the box being slightly crushed. Came with a neat little history and spec sheet too. It sure is nice to have one of my all time favorite birds in the collection. I may "gasp" have to get the Corgi version to round out the Bush collection. And their Yamoto sinker too. Then do some homemade weathering.
Bring on the Helldivers so I can round out my Naval collection!!!

Carefull now, we still need a Devastator too. I thought we might see it but probably not before the Helldiver.

True Devastators would be nice, thought I'd prefer them in the pre-war / early war scemes. The silver body and yellow wings look good on that one. And it would go nice with the Dauntless HM made.

Just let me when you decide to do it so I could record it for posterity's sake.

Only thing is they will be made of recycled material, and therefore lack any of the original flavor they may have once had.

BUMMER!!......However I'm not too concerned about such an event taking place anyway...And I should clarify I'm talking diecast metal here, just in case Easy Model slips one in, since they seem to be coming out with so many other obscurities now.

Yes, just like my new Gemini Aces Galland ME-109F I got in the mail the other day. Bent blade on the propeller with a loose spinner. Looks like the engine died-out and it 'belly-landed' in the box. NOT a scratch or dent on the box either. The box is mint, can't say that about the plane. Gimme a crushed box anyday over a damaged/broken piece or plane.
