Re: Any Bf-110 news?

Hopefully they will have aircrew or it will be Corgi getting my money for the 110.

Well with the amount of money you give to Corgi for 1 bf110, you could probably get 2 HM bf110's! But I suppose you'll also have your "clean" painted bf110
Price and Quality of paint, not to mention the god awful figurine pilots that Corgi give is what I really hate most.

Well I would definitely take the clean paint over the over exaggerated panel lines any day. A little weathering is good but they still have not gotten it down. The P-39 Devastating Devil looks terrible IMHO , it just doesn't work on light colouring. Hopefully the Bf110's they are producing will be a dark enough colour that the "weathering" doesn't take away from the model.

Re: Any Bf-110 news?

Both 110's are now available for pre-order. I'm looking forward to January!

I have added a picture that I took of my BF110 excellent I think. Very hard to find and shame to get in a blister pack, but open carefully and you can re-box it.

Cool Re: Any Bf-110 news?

I have IXO's Bf-110C S9+MP sitting in a prominent position on my fireplace mantle. It shares the space with some first class issues by Gemini, Corgi and Dragon. Yes, I've read all the slings and arrows aimed at IXO, many, many deserved, but I'm going to be very interested in buying the HM Bf-110 G-2/R3 2n+EM , the Corgi release, Bf-110C S9+MP and comparing the three issues. The Bf-110 was a failure in its original, intended role, but I've always been a fan of the design. Now, if all die cast aircraft manufacturers would cease being stupidly PC and put the Swasi on the rudder, where it historically belongs, I could add +++ points to my IXO Luftwaffe planes.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

THe wash on the HM 110 is quite subtle -- it's hard to see at all IMHO...
