Which A-10 would you like made?

If you could choose 3 and only 3 A-10's to be made what would they be? List them in order of your priority. There is a very good chance they could be made. I know you are going to hate the next part, email me your answers. I don't want other members being swayed by someone else's choices and I really don't want to do a lot of information gathering and compiling for other companies. Any votes put in this thread won't be counted in the final. hawkonevoodoo@yahoo.ca

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

I still say do one matching the markings of that Female Cpt who brought her shot up bird back in one piece. That may help the guys get it pass the Mrs, "look honey a female flew this one". If I can find more info I'll post it, but I'm sure the Air Force has a PAO person with all the details that would help.

I think this is that article you're looking for, Shawn. http://www.aero-news.net/news/milita...29&Dynamic=1#d

She's the daughter of a local assemblyman from San Jose, California. She even went to the same high school I went to.

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

I will throw my vote in for this one too...a great aircraft with a combat story to boot..
I have to tell you - before I had seen the article/photos, I had asked a ret. Col who works down the hall, who was an A-10 pilot, if he recalled the pilots name. Another (female) Col (another former pilot) thought it was a great idea to make this model....until I told her the reasoning about keeping the wife in check! She wasn't happy....

I can only think of a couple- and one would be kinda a new idea for HM... The first would be an A-10 from the 355th Wing at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. The other would be a diorama set including a battle-damaged A-10, some ground crew personnel (checking out the damage), and a platform base that looks like a section of tarmac.

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

If HM makes Cpt. Campbells A-10 I'll buy it! Even though I have no need for an A-10, I respect what she accomplished enough to buy the small version of her plane. I really love the 1:1 version though, an Infantryman's best friend.

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

While I agree the KC story is awesome and would make for an awesome, we do not need another 23rd FG A-10, as Hobby Master's is due now any day. There are many more units out there.
