KC, please come aboard. Your story is a keeper. Would be delighted to have 'KC and the HOG' in my collection.

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

Hawkonevoodoo,
Hey there.

After some poking around on google, I came up with this link to the squadron logo.

http://www.globalsecurity.org/milita...usaf/104fs.htm

The Squadron is the 175th Maryland National Guard, 104th Fighter Squadron. Their official website is down right now or I'd provide the link. I have no idea if these guys have been deployed overseas, but even if they have not, produce one of these and I'll chase it down. Thanks.

Anything for a weird life.

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

First Sgt and Starman,
Hey there.

Thanks SO MUCH for posting the pictures. You guys truly rock! (Sorry for my "duplicate" post above. In the time that I tracked down the scant info that I have you all came through.)

Also, First Sgt, one of your pictures shows bombs painted on the fuselage. May I presume that the 104th has been sent to Iraq in either Gulf I or Gulf II? (I moved out of Maryland about 20 years ago so I have no idea about the squadrons current, or recent deployments?)

They were deployed, and saw action, during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. A few years prior to that, were in Bosnia (if my memory is correct...)

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

djjeffhall, check out the Photo section, I have a few MD ANG birds up from my visit to the Warren Grove Range. I think there is a half decent profile shot in there of one.

As far as the A-10s go, any of them, MA, MD, or CT ANG units is what I'm hoping for. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed and until then, wait till the first two Hobby Master A-10s get here, which sounds like that should be any day now. The peanut scheme is slowly, and painfully growing on me, but it won't be something I'll jump on right away, as well as the Indiana DDay hog. Probably grab them if I can get a deal on them or something. I'm really hoping they give us an ANG Hog for their next scheme, as I've done my share of lobbying. We'll see!!

Brian

Re: Which A-10 would you like made?

If you could choose 3 and only 3 A-10's to be made what would they be? List them in order of your priority. There is a very good chance they could be made. I know you are going to hate the next part, email me your answers. I don't want other members being swayed by someone else's choices and I really don't want to do a lot of information gathering and compiling for other companies. Any votes put in this thread won't be counted in the final. hawkonevoodoo(a)yahoo.ca

Waltz41,
Hey there.

Thanks for the reminder. I did actually go to Hawkonevoodoo after your reminder and all the info folks here have helped me with. I really wasn't expecting to find this much info.

What the heck, it was worth a try to get them emailed so I counted the posts as well. Thanks to all who emailed and/or posted.
