ANG units beating regular AF in competitions is a very common thing. They don't fly as many hours per month on average, but their experience level (both aircrews and ground support crews) is way higher than regular squadrons (average pilot probably has tow or three times the flying hours in the Guard than regular AF). That more than compensates. So your post may potentially apply to a lot of units... FVD | ||||||||||||||
