Re: P-61 Blackwidow where are you....????

No, no, no! I want HM to go all 1/48, aircraft (WW II anyway), and even armor.

There are enough 1/72s on the market from Corgi and many other brands (GA, Witty, Dragon, etc...), with plenty more to come I suspect. What we need is more decent 1/48 scale models, not more P-51s, etc, (which I take "basic line" to mean), in 1/72. Enough already!

We need more 1/48th. I say make both as they are.

Well, I have no problem with 1:48, but I don't have room for 'em, so you can let them know that there are plenty of us (see scale poll) that like their product, and want 1:72 also. Now if they wanted to do a number of WW I aircraft in 1:48......I'd be in heaven!

Re: P-61 Blackwidow where are you....????

I throw in with the 1/72nd scale. I don't have room for a Black Widow in any other scale. If they can do it in both scales fine, but I'll go 1/72nd. I would have bought the Brewster Buffalo had it been smaller.

Agreed!

HobbyMaster's current 'niche market' strategy is the way to go in my opinion e.g. their 1/48 Spitfires are likely to be best-sellers, given that no-one makes this particular Mk. Their other 1/72 offerings are also great such as the Dauntless and Harvard/Texan .

(P-61 Black Widow in 1/72 though as it's a big bird that will complement the Corgi 'Black Cat' PBY Catalina nicely .) A SR-71 Blackbird would also be pretty .
