Re: Hobbymaster And Corgi Partners ?

jim, they're opening up a new theme park around here this summer....I hear it's going to be called P-40World........When ya coming?

You are toying with me Skunky, if that theme park came about I would emigrate there and apply for a job.

I borrowed a book from the library yesterday called Dessert Eagles , sad person that I am I sat up reading it all night , I just couldn't put the d.mn thing down. Fascinating how well the P40 did against the 109Gs.

The P40 was put to good use, completly self sufficient.
Recce first then bombing and providing their own top cover at the same time.
It also shows its limitations at altitude, I quote, "I pushed the throttle through the gate bending the lever for all its worth, nothing happened".

It seems fortunately that a lot of the combat took place under 20.000 feet and to quote,Hal Marting "we got to play a little".

OOps sorry chaps i seem to be drifting off topic a little,

I dont have a problem with the packaging of either makers both types make sure the model arrives safe. After that the boxes are thrown up into the attic and never see daylight again. I would like to see a very early P40 made by HM. I think they would make a good job of it.

We are using a captured Stuka to bring up supplies, its amazing how much beer you can get into a Stuka! Ed Miluck.

.

Me too....I like the B/Cs much better than the later versions, which always looked a little too nose-heavy for me...I'm used to tail-heavy hardware...(you've all heard about Mrs. "S"....shhhhhhhhhh)

Re: Hobbymaster And Corgi Partners ?

Interesting to see that so far nothing from Preditors series 2 or 3 has appeared, and the first series (Aces) is all deployed !

Re: Hobbymaster And Corgi Partners ?

To be honest the pre-release ordering is now ludicrous as there is no way all these models are going to be out in time, dates are moving back months at a time April to June etc etc. Also I am receiving numerous cancellations of product notifications as they are now delayed indefinitely. Just for interest go to www.corgi.co.uk look for Predator series then look what planes are there and what aren't.

Re: Hobbymaster And Corgi Partners ?

I know answering myself is probably rude but go to www.corgi-usa.com look for F-104's Look at the Tiger Meet plane picture
