Should i buy HM Iraqi Mig-21 at US$31.00?

Are they good(HM's Mig-21)? especially the Iraqi scheme.
I've seen the pic and i dun like the panel lines too much. A bit rough for me i think.

Pls share your comments. Should i buy it at US$31.00 or should i wait for other model to come by to my local shop.

That's a hard question to answer. Is it going to be that much if any cheaper at your local hobby shop? Do you have to pay local taxes? Would you have to pay for shipping?

No US$31.00 is including taxes and no shipping required.

I'm interested because HM is the sole manufacturer of diecast Mig-21.

Are they worth for collecting? I don't like the panel too much though and i hate to think that the fiddley bits are goin to give me trouble.

What's the best scheme in your opinion?

I like the looks of it... but I'm by no means a nit-picker.

Just for curiosity sake did HM model MiG-21 with AA-2 Atoll missile, with which Iraqis couldn't hit a side of a barn or an exceptional French Matra R550 missile, which in combination with maneuverability of MiG-21 accounted for quite a few kills of Iranians' F-5s, F-4s, and F-14s?

Regards,

Sergey

I quite like the HB Mig 21s. I have two and am contemplating the other two. High on the list is the Iraqi one and the Iraqi Sea Fury from Witty. Nice combination methinks.

I'm pretty sure they were the AA-2 Atoll

I just received notice that my North Vietnamese ace Nguyen Van Coc Mig-21 shipped today, I'm quite excited.
Though I seem to be in the minority, I like these Corgi Predator series ones the best.
