Wink Re: HM - Don't forget the Blue Angels!

Well Skunky - thats stretching it! Are there any Bearcats planned in diecast yet? I think there were Blue Angels Cougars, Cutlasses, and Tigers too. Doubt we'll see those! However Dragon needs to make a B.A. Hornet.

Yes, that IS stretching it. I don't think all these BA birds will be built, so we shouldn't ask. However, if anyone is paying attention, the Cutlasses were -1s, the long nose Tigers looked best, and the Blues used to use a T-33 (actually a TV-2) as a support plane for a while. Oh, and a TF-9J would be SWEET in BA colors.
But, again, enough of asking for any more BA aircraft!

A two seat version of the F9F Cougar. Cougars were redesignated F-9 after 1962.

Re: HM - Don't forget the Blue Angels!

And did anyone mention that the Blues first plane was the Hellcat, which HM already makes BTW? Oh wait, that's right, no more asking for BA planes...

They actually had a few different paint schemes on the TV-2 Seastar, as it was known in the Navy. 1. The basic Blue Angel Blue with the Blue Angel banner on the tiptank, as shown in the picture posted by SmartD

2. The checkerboard tiptank:

3. The striped tiptank:

4. And a natural metal version:
