1:48 Wildcat?

I think I saw on the OMI website that Hobby Master has plans for a 1:48 Wildcat. Can anybody confirm or deny?

The Wildcat was cancelled after Carousel 1 announced they were doing one.

D'oh! Well fine then. Guess that's another Carousel 1 bird I'll be buying.

A terrible shame too! HM's Wildcat could have been stellar. Carousel's attempt didn't fly for me.

Yeah, mine crashed and burned too when I tossed it out the window on its first test flight -- do HM's 1:48's engines actually work!

Hey Pappy... did you see Casino Royale? If so, does this quote sound familiar:

"You're a funny man, Mr. PappyB!"

Well, if I didn't try -- a certain rodent would have stunk up the thread for sure :-) (with better results I'm sure!)

Really? What don't you like about the C1 Wildcats?

Re: 1:48 Wildcat?

I think they look great. They look better in person than they do in pics.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: 1:48 Wildcat?

I was thinking about getting the Butch O'Hara one.

Though... after seeing Dog Fight over Guadalcanal last night on PBS for the 2nd time... I wish they would make a Pug Southerland Wildcat. That would be great to have! But then they would need to make a 1:48 Sabaru SakaiZero to go with it. Guess they better get crackin!

Anybody got better pics of the O'Hara Wildcat??
