Take a look at the shots of the plane on its back. When you click on the picture it opens, if you click on the next picture it gets even larger. It should show you how I just put the cradle (the top part of the stand that the model sits on) between the missiles and over the cross brace.

Thanks Hawk, tried to fit it like that but one of the missiles came off the rack so I had to get the glue out. They are on now but one is a little bent only way I can see to fix it is to take out a sharp knife and shave down the front arm on the cradle. HM might want to look at this for future F-104's.

This has already been suggested to HM.

Re: HA1002 Lockheed F-104C Starfighter "Pussy Cat"

Dropped in on my local hobby shop today. Was wanting to pick up the "Minsi III" Hellcat and the "Operation Torch" Dauntless. Then I caught sight of the Pussycat....

Walked out of the store with three HM boxes!

Interestingly, this particular plane was based at Udorn AFB in Thailand. That's my wife's hometown! "Look at what I got today honey, a piece of home!!"

And you know what? She didn't get mad at me.
