Taiwan F-104G announced

It appeared on the hobbymaster website, but I am not sure of its availability. It is one of those "exotic" liveries I want to add to my collection.
Data according to the website:

HA1015

F-104G
Taiwan Air Force,No.4344
1/72 die-cast display model
Release Date: 20 Jan 2007

Hawk, do you know more about this item?

This was an 1200 model production exclusive for ¡¹»Èªeª±¨ã«°¡¹ GO-toyshop and the word is they sold them all. I will check again with Hobby Master to make sure they sent me the correct URL. I hate to say it but you might find one on Ebay, other than that I can't locate any.

Welcome to the forum as an active member, you probably have been lurking for a while.
I'm guessing that the card actually has nothing specifically to do with the M-61 Vulcan. I would say what you have is model 0919 of 1200 models made world-wide. The gun is just on there to dress the card up. I'll verify this with Hong Kong, I don't know for certain, this is just my guess.

I just heard back from Hobby Master in Hong Kong and what I said earlier is correct, you own # 0919 out of 1200.

Re: Taiwan F-104G announced

yeah, but the card clearly states "Vulcan Aircraft Gun"...not F-104G!
I do understand it means it is aircraft XXXX of XXXX but...it is confusing.

Yeah, particularly since the picture on the card is NOT one of an M-61 Vulcan gun (no matter what the words say on it). It's a GAU-8 Avenger (as mounted on the A-10). Can be recognized in many ways, but easiest is that M-61 has 6 barrells, GAU-8 has 7.

The reason that the gun is on the card and in fact is the wrong name for the gun, is because this is an exclusive production made for someone or some company outside Hobby Master. The customer that ordered these dictates what he or she wants for a model, what is on the model, what is in or on the the box. The final say is up to the customer when it comes to the retail product since they are paying the bill. Personally the gun isn't what I would have gone with but it's not my money having them made. To me the main thing is the model and a number on the card specific to it.
