Re: Hobbymaster Future F-5 release

Canadian Agressor schemes from CFB Cold Lake wouldn't be bad either. Vietnam era USAF would be my second choice.

That is not a photoshop, nor is it my pic. That is a real pic, of a real Sundowners F-5 taken a few days ago. They were just re-established as an aggressor squadron and that's the first one out of the paint shop. VFC-111.

We're just waiting to see how they do the camo low-vis ones. Here's a suggestion that has been sent to the squadron's CO:

I second the call for that livery, VFC-13's Detachment Key West has just assumed the traditions of VF-111 the Sundowners, hence VFC-111. It's a fine livery of a historic unit, by the way this appears to be a former Swiss AF F-5E, which the USN has renamed F-5N. The original Navy F-5Es have been retired, and surplus lower time Swiss machines were bought back, and given the new designation.

Re: Hobbymaster Future F-5 release

Yup, F-5N's. So we'd need a mold with the F-20-style sharknose and extended LERX.
