Re: Hobby Master 2008 Wish List

I like all the suggestions so far, but I would add the RA-5C Vigilante to the list (1/72, although 1/48 would be quite impressive). That was just a beautiful jet. Unfortunately, only used by US Navy, so relatively limited paint schemes... But man, I'd love to see it done!

I'd also like to see the F-111, and F-105 (D and G). F-106 would be very interesting.

Now, how about a TSR-2 (although that may be more in Corgi's lane, being Brit plane)? But talk about limited liveries... Will never happen. I just think that airplane looked way cool.

In WW II era, would like to see some Japanese and Russian planes. IXO doesn't do it for me (in large part because I prefer 1/48 scale, plus some quality issues); and although I do own few Marushins, there seems to be a need in that area (how about a Betty and a Dinah in 1/72 at least? Plus 1/48 La-7 and Yak-9 or 3, for starters).

Re: Hobby Master 2008 Wish List

I would love a Vigi as well.....Unfortunately it's standing several places behind the F-111 in the "waiting to be recognized by the diecast industry" line...

A Kingfisher, now that would be cool.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Hobby Master 2008 Wish List

Hmm, TSR2, I had not thought about that one, interestingly some of the performance figures are still covered by the secrets act.

DO17 and Me110 is a must for all taildragger collectors.

BUT I WILL ASK AGAIN, WHAT ABOUT A TIGERCAT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless America.

I agree, a Tigercat would be a great plane to have. Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever see one. They weren't really plentiful and the color schemes were pretty much uniform. Afterall, how many totally dark blue Tigercats can you really have in a collection? Don't see any company recouping their development costs on this model compared to the limited potential sales. Still, I'd love to see one!

Shhhhhh, stop saying things like that you never know who might be listening.
Cough , well I would buy a dozen of them even if they were all marked the same.

God Bless America.
