Re: Hobby Master 2008 Wish List

I like the way you think.

Thanks, the Panther is way over due - as much of a mainstay in Korea as the F-86. A-20/26 are nicely scaled in 1/72 and plenty of great schemes available. Corgi's been doing a good job on the early British jets, but somebody needs to follow with the equivalent American a/c a'la F-84.

1/72:

Aichi D3A Val
Nakajima B5N Kate
Brewster Buffalo
Focke-Wulf Ta 152
Lavochkin LaGG-3

Good to see that they are putting out some Soviet armor and hopefully they will continue that with the aircraft. I would love to see HM begin to fill out the Japanese and Soviet lines that others have neglected for so long.

Am I the only one who likes the FJ-4 Fury? I see several other aircraft from that era but I'm the only one pluggin the Fury.

Nope...I'd love to see it done too. In fact I even mentioned it a time or two previously.. It was a great looking jet. I have vague memories of seeing them flying out of NAS So Weymouth, MA back in the early 60s..I like the FJ-4 better than the F-86. I have an old Emhar kit of it stored away that I never got around to building before I "retired".
Unfortunately the Fury is another one that I'm not holding my breath waiting for.
