Re: "Devastating Devil" question?

Ok the pics are up on this one, but I still wonder... will it have the red outlined insignia like this one?

I'm quite certain it will be this one and this shows what I think will be closer to the actual color of the model. This is from Yellow Series Bell P-39 Airacobra by Artur Juszczak and Robert Peczkowski I have seen 3 0r 4 other pictures and they all had the starts and bars like this. I have seen the pictures of the model you are showing before but the books I have all have this paint scheme. Here's a link to another model of this plane that looks great. http://photos.kitmaker.net/showgalle...00&ppuser=4325

That looks sweet.
The upcoming Russian scheme is one I modelled years ago, so it will be a must have.

Bummer! The red adds some color to the scheme. Still I'll be adding this one to the hangar.

Looks awesome! I can't wait to add this bird to my collection. I guess it is time to dump my IXO P39

Re: "Devastating Devil" question?

I gave my IXO away to a new collector last week. Helped a new collector getting started, and cleared space for the new HM P-39 at the same time ;-)

Re: "Devastating Devil" question?

I've been waiting for this one since I started collecting over 10 years ago! It definitely would have been my first acquisition. I'm really glad HM picked it up before Corgi or even Dragon - love the P-39!

It's scheduled for a late October release. This is when it will ship from Hong Kong.

It's listed here under October Releases. I try to keep this current whenever there are revisions.

OK, thank you! My eyes must be takin' Friday off: I still don't see it listed, just the Pokryshkin (October) and Snooks 2nd (November) liveries.

Sorry about that, for some reason I had Pokryshkin on the brain, my mistake. Devastating Devil release date will be announced very shortly. Just check my News page occassionally and I will post it as soon as I have it. I will post it in the Future Releases as well.
