Re: SBD Helldiver in the future ??

Without a doubt.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: SBD Helldiver in the future ??

I seem to be the odd one out here! I would not buy a Helldiver , I really dont like the look of this plane at all. That big ugly rudder! no not for me I am afraid. However I hope you chaps get your wish and some one makes it. I shall just wait quietly for the P61.

God Bless America.

That somewhat surprises me, jim, being that the Beast was made by the same bunch who made your beloved P-40.(Let's face it, Curtiss didn't make the prettiest airplanes in the world)...Get aboard and want one with us..It was a big, studly looking thing, much like Canucklehead's and my current avatars (which happen to be our actual images by the way).

And yes, we do need a Val and Kate at some point, too....

Hear ya, and let me throw in a request for a Ki-51 Sonia and her older sister, Ann. Love the look of these recon light bombers.

Hobby Master has to make it--- they have no choice!!! that because they are Hobby Master. Isn't that right Hawkie??? Let us know SOON!

Its not in the 2007 line up but in MY PERSONAL OPINION it is a great candidate for 2008. I definitely will put it on my list of planes to recommend.

Well if you put it that way, Ok , I want one too.

Btw , I would have thought you would have been shouting for a Dinah. That is a streamlined sleek looking plane that you Pacific fellas should screaming for.

Was it called the beast because it was as ugly as sin, built like a brick outhouse or because it was a pig to fly??

(Or possibly all three)

I have to agree with Jim on this one. Definitely doesn't get me going.

I think all of the above.
