Re: SBD Helldiver in the future ??

Are there really that many Helldiver fans out there? (Or Son Of A Bitch 2nd Class, which I just think is funnier for some reason?)

I hate to play spoiler, but there are at least 10 other ships I'd like to see covered first.

For the record, I'd be clawing my way to the head of the line for one..It may not have had a stellar record, nor the greatest reputation amongst pilots, but it was one tough lookin' "beast".

Re: SBD Helldiver in the future ??

The Helldiver is not my favorite plane. However, since I like displaying aircraft from a certain period and/or service, an SB2C would look great in the case next to the Dauntless, Avenger, Wildcat, Corsair and Hellcat. If only we could get a Devastator...

I'd like a Devastator too, but I figured that would be asking for the moon. Something in a yellow wing would be nice.

Oh gracious no!....I haven't looked that good in 3 or 4 years now. That's actually a snap of Canucklehead taken during last year's "Show Us Your Pride,Alberta!" festival....

My girlfriend will attest to the fact I've never looked like that. The truth looks more like this:

Re: SBD Helldiver in the future ??

Hey guys, It worries me some that Skunky has photos like this !!!!!As to the Helldiver, well I have to say that its one ugly son of an aeroplane and well down my list. HM should make a P61 first or Tigercat IMHO.

Skunky, just when I think I've plumbed the depths of your depravity, you come up with something like this. Way to keep us guessing!
