SBD Helldiver in the future ??

Any chace HM will make the Helldiver to round out the big three in Naval Aviation? After watching the History Channel's Dogfight show about Taffy 3, I got to thinking one of those would be nice as well.

I had a very similary thought while watching that Dogfights episode - brilliant minds do think alike you know . In 3-D, the Helldiver does look pretty awsome! I would definitely be in for at least 1 or 2 if HM released it - add it to the list!

Hell Yes on the Helldiver. I watched the same show and thought it is probably just a matter of time before we see one. HobbyMaster would be the perfect candidate to make one. That plane was a beast but deadly so I have read. It could take alot of battle damage and bring it's crews back safe.

It would be a good one to make. I would buy at least two. Plenty of paint schemes.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Yes please!

One of our local Warbirds earned three DFCs and a host of other gongs, including three Purple Hearts, while completing three combat tours in the South Pacific with the USMC. He was the rear gunner in two tours in SBDs and one in Helldivers. the Helldiver missions were all against ground targets
in the Philippines and later in China just before the surrender.
