Re: HobbyMaster Double Props

YES!!! A B-10, and an F7F. I am sure Starman will go for the Tigercat. The B-10 is so cool. THe only one left is in the USAFM.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

A French A26, DB7/A20 or Martin 167F would be a "must" for me.

The A26 especially would be a great choice : a terrific plane with many different variants and markings possible ...

An iconic plane for French spotters as the FAF was the 2nd largest user of the type !

But a Me 410 wouldn't be bad either....

Re: HobbyMaster Double Props

This is a great thread for everybody's 'twin' wishlist! The aircraft I've suggested have I feel a huge scope for model development.

Bristol Beaufighter can cover everything from the Merlin engined nightfighters to the Coastal Command and 'torbeau' versions. The IXO model is hard to come by and quite basic.
Bristol Blenheim is a also a possiblity with the short nosed early types including nightfighters, and the later MKV's.
Dornier DO17/217 has great potential from the 'Battle of Britain' to the solid nosed DO217N. All fronts could be covered.
HE219 Uhu. IXO model is a stopgap until a proper one is done.
Douglas Boston/Havoc that a member has already suggested is a fine choice as is the B-26 Marauder.
Me 110. Again the IXO is out there but has huge possibilities with different liveries.
PE-2 and TU-2 from Russia?
I'm glad thats off my chest; sorry for being so long winded!

Re: HobbyMaster Double Props

Just FYI, someone is selling an IXO Beaufighter right here on the Model Hanger Exchange. I would have bought it, but already have one.

Re: HobbyMaster Double Props

HM have already announced that they will be doing an Me 110 early next year. Can Hawkone give us any updates on when it will be available?

Re: HobbyMaster Double Props

I support the Martin 139 (B-10). It's about time that we get a bomber from the early '30s.

Re: HobbyMaster Double Props

I'm still waiting to get approval to spill the beans or at least the first portion of them. I'm as anxious to tell you guys as you are to know. I'll try again to see if I can at least get a date when I can tell all. Check my News page for updates, I'll post them there as soon as I can.
