Last edited by Rush104 : 08-16-2007 at 04:21 AM.
What color schemes would you like to see for future HM F-104 models? Here's my list:

1. F-104C- 434th (Red), 435th (Green), 436th (Yellow), and 476th (Blue) Tactical Fighter Squadrons (479th TFW), 1959- Natural Metal with Comet and Star logos, each squadron represented with its individual squadron color.
2. F-104A- Royal Jordanian Air Force- Overall Natural Metal
3. CF-104G- Canadian Armed Forces- Grey/Green lo-vis scheme
4. F-104G- German Marineflieger- Overall Grey w/ Silver undersides
5. F-104G- Royal Danish Air Force- Lt. Grey delivery scheme and/or the overall Green scheme
6. F-104G- Royal Norwegian Air Force- Overall Aluminum (this one looks different from the normal natural metal scheme)
7. F-104A- ROCAF- Southeast Asia Camo

NASA, the one hanging from the roof of the National Air & Space museum. Only F-104 I've ever actually seen.

I think Hobby Master should just make one of every country that the Starfighter flew in.. Then we'd all be happy LOL

Well I think thats why they chose to do the Starfighter and the A-4. Plenty of schemes, bigger market, bigger sales, bigger profit = )

Thats why its understandable for them to contemplate doing planes like F-105 and P-61.

Re: What F-104 color schemes would you like to see?

Well lets see. They haven't done Turkey,Denmark,Norway,Spain,Belgian,Jordan,Italy and they did do a Dutch F-104 but wasn't available to the rest of the world. I'd still like to see more USAF operational schemes F-104's at Hamiton AFB in San Francisco or Homestead AFB in Florida not to metion AZ,TN and P.R. Air Guard. Operational Canadian CF-104's and F-104S"s and Finally Beating a Dead Horse here Luke AFB German F-104G's in USAF markings (Gunfighters of the New West).

I agree with previous comments about seeing the operational schemes. I am not a fan of most specials/one-off/anniversary paint jobs; but I do like operational schemes that contain some color. That's why I always liked the Navy jets of the 50's-70's, and the CAG birds of the lo-viz era. As far as the 104 goes ( I don't know if this link will work), here's a NASA version that I think looks pretty cool. I'd like to see a diecast version of it. I know its bright (even loud), but it looks like it was the everyday scheme for a while in the 60's.

This website is by Hubert Peitzmeier, and its one of the best F-104 websites around.
