Re: HM Request for model suggestions

A sundy would be so sweet.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: HM Request for model suggestions

I heard the wings on a1/72 short sunderland would measure 19 inches.
A corgi B-24 has an 18.5 inch wingspan so a short cannot be that much bigger right?

Re: HM Request for model suggestions

Just had a thought so before it gets lonely and goes away I will tell you it!! Would it be possible for HM to produce a model with "bits" included so that we could have choice as to which Marks we want to have. A lot of aircraft types have the same structure that has been adapted over their lifes into different types. Am I making sense here? An extreme example would be a conversion package included in the Spitfire MKV box to change it to a floatplane. But it need not be so compilcated. Perhaps the bits to change a dayfighter into nightfighter or ground attack. Just a thought.

God Bless America.

Re: HM Request for model suggestions

Must be a good day cos I just had another thought. Problem with the bits idea is of course the markings. If you changed the Mk then you would have to change the markings! Tisk that would mean back to decals etc! Oh well I never said I was bright. DOH.
