Re: Taiwan exclusive F-104

Will you be able to give some hint (Taiwan F-104) to who will have this one and when they come out?

I emailed the owner of the shop and I'm waiting to hear from him. I will post any updates as soon as I get some.

Has anyone gotten their hands on a Taiwanese 104? I supposedly have one on the way, but am dying to know if it was worth the trouble.

You are lucky to get one, the 1200 sold out within a few days. Don't let the black lines scare you, they aren't nearly as dark in person.

Re: Dutch 104? Have I been sleeping....?

Very sharp pictures - I'm not as put off by the panel lines as some others, so I'm not too concerned. I have purchased a couple of HM MiGs and was very happy. In fact, the HM MiGs were my first foray into jets and is what led me into my wild goose chase for the Taiwanese 104.

I see HM is also doing a limited release in the Netherlands. Any idea if this is going to become a regular practice for HM?

These are models that are being made as exclusives for these people. The same idea as the Flying Mule and a few others that want a limited quantity produced in a certain paint scheme. The Taiwan F-104 was a run of 1200 for Gotoy Shop in Taiwan, I don't know how many for the Model Plaza Dutch version. You too can have a special production done if you order the minimum required and pay the price. For starters judging from the Taiwan F-104 1200 you know you have to order 1200 or so. I'm sure if these models are a success they will be ordering another limited edition.
