A poll concerning Hobby Master landing gear

I want to find out how people feel about the Mig undercarriage.

I would like to know how much or how little this bothers you.

Re: A poll concerning Hobby Master landing gear

No, I think they make some special pieces, and are very well built, and a great price for what you get. Now for a P-61--you know I had to get that in there.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

I absolutely hate using glue!
If I want to build a model I will.
+ If I use glue, the model is not mint anymore.

Thanks, this was the first poll for me on this new forum so hopefully I will do it right next time. I looked for a way that I could delete the thread but I couldn't find one.

While I think of it. On the old forum there was a window at the bottom of the pages in posts that could be selected and all the categories would show and we could select where we want to go from that point. Now I find it hard to navigate easily through all the categories, and there are lots of categories. I hope you understand what I'm talking about.

Re: A poll concerning Hobby Master landing gear

I'll check into it for you Hawk.

Fileasfog, you may find that the "no-glue" policy will lead you away from some really great models, not just HobbyMaster but other brands as well. If you use regular white glue it comes off the model with no damage, but to each their own.

Re: A poll concerning Hobby Master landing gear

I don't think that the landing gear is that bad. However, it would be even better if it was like the dragon f-16 landing gear that comes as a preassembled plug in unit.

Agreed and I think this is what many people originally expected from HM, not to have to mess with the "fiddly bits" that Dragon is notorious for..
The undercarriage probably could have been "modularized" as one piece similar to what Slammin suggests..
