Mine seems to have more weight in the rear. The only way I can get it to sit right is to add some "blu-tac" to the front undercarriage so it sticks to the ground.

Yup -- it's a tail-dragger.... noted that in my review:

Wow, i didn't notice there were no nose gear doors for retracted option. I guess I was too distracted correcting the C-o-G problem

I believe the nose doors are molded on in the open position -- if you could confirm the lack of a closed door part, that would be great.....]

There is a lack of a closed nose wheel door and I have brought it to Hobby Master's attention. As for the CoG I have both HA1601 and HA1602 and neither one has a tail sitter problem for me. Yes they are heavy towards the aft end and the stance moves the CoG back a bit but on mine its not enough to make it tail sit. I tried the model on its gear after I added a pair of any of the weapons to see if it would sit because maybe each set of weapons might throw off the CoG but it never sat. Mind you it may not take a whole lot of pressure on the tail to make it sit but just sitting there the model won't do it without some help. Maybe I got the only 2 models that don't tail sit.

Yeah sometimes I can get it to sit just right as well, but would be good if it was a bit heavier in the front so its not so sensitive to that. maybe put a bolt or a rock in the cone haha

Normally I only collect WWII birds, but HA1601, the blue-gray Mirage 2000C, looks so sweet I might have to make an exception...
It's expected to hit stores around September, right?

Maybe a lead pilot figure would help?

Maybe we got the only two tail sitters?

But seriously... sometimes I can get it to sit properly, but it takes some patience (and yes the surface is level)..... so I just found it easier to clip it in a nice Witty F-16 stand (looks great!)

'cept for that nose door issue... which is very strange to me given HM's excellent track record with optional parts.

Thumbs down Re: Is anyone having Centre Of Gravity issues with their Mirage 2000C?

Wow, I pre-ordered the Blue Mirage 2000 but am very disappointed to hear that the gear cannot be retracted. I'm considering cancelling. It's hard, I really want a Mirage.

Well, to clarify, it has retracted gear doors for the wing gear... just not the nose, for some reason the gear doors for the nose are molded on (open). It's really not all that noticeable -- and I've got it on a Witty stand, which makes it easier to see, too.
