Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

Make no mistake, I have nothing against models with folded wings, it's ones with folding wings I object to...We are mixing up folded with folding on this thread...I think I can guarantee the fantastic looking F-8 in those photos has fixed folded wings. They do not operate. If they did, it wouldn't look nearly as accurate.....

And if you hate the Dragon P-51s for their loose flaps, folding wings that work would only break or get lost over time. Sorry I want my birds standing tall ready for flight. Now on the Crusader, you can go with wing area behind the cockpit in the up or down position.

.....unless the manufacturers don't think there are enough viable liveries to go around?

They'd have to be pretty damn clueless then......as has been shown in another Crusader-related thread, there probably isn't another aircraft in history that has had more flamboyant paint schemes applied to it.

LOL, I have just been given a lesson on semantics. OK FOLDED wings. I am also no fan of moving bits'n'pieces. How about versions with fixed folded wings and one in flight configuration?

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

I second that, I really want my SEA A-7 first but I'm all for an A-8

Third that.
