Thumbs up Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

For once I wouldn't follow you Froggy :

The Mirage III/V and Viggen yes, but not before a F8E (FN) !!!

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

Definitely would add an F-8 to my collection. I'd like to have a well rounded Vietnam collection including the A-4, A-6, AD-6, and F-105, to add to my F-4 and F-100. Also looking at Corgi's North Vietnames Mig 21. And how 'bout a NV Mig-17?

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

I would pefer HM over CW because of price. However, I'd want more than one US Navy bird before they cranked out the French or other user ones.

Sign me up,.... folding wings would be nice.

I'd go for that. I've never quite understood why so many are against folded wing configs.

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

I'd love one or three of them.

A late French one would be nice as well as the Navy and Marines models because the only Crusader I have actually seen was a French one, a few years ago.

Great Pics. Maybe Skunky will change his mind about folding wings.

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

Make no mistake, I have nothing against models with folded wings, it's ones with folding wings I object to...We are mixing up folded with folding on this thread...I think I can guarantee the fantastic looking F-8 in those photos has fixed folded wings. They do not operate. If they did, it wouldn't look nearly as accurate.....

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

Hey folks,
Yes, I would love to see a Crusader in diecast. I'm not sure what the reluctance has been on making this bird, unless the manufacturers don't think there are enough viable liveries to go around?

Anything for a weird life.
