Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

Yes, but a mirage III or a Viggen will be better.

Ya know, I've been secretly wishing for a Mirage III w/IAF camo & livery, and then a SAAB Viggen! I hope someday....

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

Most definately.

I really like my Topping-Precise Models of them, they are in 1/48 and Plastic, but have provenance as real pieces of aviation history. I'll try and get pics here when I can, I did post the ones from my F8U-3 awhile back. To have one in Diecast would be nice, candidates could include Dick Bellenger's Mig 21 killing VF-162 airplane, Phil Vampetella's VF-211 one, and Lt. Tucker's 1972 Mig Scarer (the Mig pilot ejected once he was being tracked by Crusaders...the Sader's last victory even though not counted by official historians.) Plus the French Navy Low Vis variant would look good, and somebody ought to definately do an RF-8.

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

I for one would love for my favorite diecast manufacturer to make this model. I think it will happen in time too many others to do first. CW is too rich for my blood.

Re: Do you want an F-8 Crusader?

If HM can do it without a glaring error like the droopy A-10 tail or the a$$-heaviness/lack of closed front gear door on the Mirage, I'll definitely buy one!
