That Achilles IIc had better be released soon - I've been waiting quite a long time for it :P

Re: HM new releases 1.72

I managed to get hold of the new HM T55 representing a Polish Army vehicle equipped with a formidable anti-aircraft M.G. on the turret.

Overall, a pleasing issue which needs a little more track hang between road wheels, I think. The M.G. paintwork looks a little O.T.T. and should have been toned down a little. Otherwise, the detailing on the turret and body is great and the paint job is very good. I like the fine detailing on the turret, especially.

A great little model of this Classic A.F.V. Best I've seen in this scale!

The gun and turret are diecast while the chassis is plastic.

Time for an Egyptian T55 and an Israeli Centurion !
Can we have one of each H.M. ? Or is it politically incorrect for any model company to produce an Israeli A.F.V. ?

Re: HM new releases 1.72

I have yet to see an M 10, although I have several on order. Of course, we are all waiting to see what the Achilles is like. I guess that the French M 10 has not surfaced anywhere. Has anyone seen it? Has anyone seen M 10s still available?

Re: HM new releases 1.72

I ordered 2 of the M-10 online here in the US a few weeks back, very nice. Would look great with crew which I'm currently working on now. I won't buy the British Achilles but may get the M-10 in French service. I got the WWII Pershing a while ago too, would look great in a diorama with a Panther and Cathedral in the background representing that famous black and white footage of their duel in Cologne Germany 1945.

Re: HM new releases 1.72

Good project - the Pershing and the Panther, Legio. Italieri have two plastic kits which are based on ruined churches and which could be useful in creating a cathedral diorama. At least they have the windows and doors done as Gothic arches, as well as small walls and bricks. Good luck with that one!

I can't find M 10s in any of my usual haunts. However, I have a standing order to take two of any which The Treasure Bunker can get their hands on! I intend to do the same as you. Once the elusive Hellcats are in my grasp, I'll use Preiser figures to populate them.

Preiser figures are nice, so are AB, Warriors and Milicast.

Tank Zone say that they have the new Achilles from HM. The price has gone up to £13.99! ( but I've gotta have it ! )

Re: HM new releases 1.72

I'll be after this, even though it's a turncoat:

( the French M10 should be in the U.K. in august! )
