Re: KV-1, anyone?

The thing to watch will be whether HM stays with their metal content. Remember Admiral's 90% metal? They are now almost all plastic, due to "production costs." The KV-1 is certainly Dragon quality, to the point that if both made the same tank, the HM version would be my choice, due to metal content. I am not a stickler for metal, but if I've got 2 products, basically the same, but one with a "heft" to it, I'm going with the heft. The future is very bright for those of us who collect 1/72 armor!

Hobby Master intends to stick with the metal and increase it where they can while maintaining a reasonably priced model.

Re: KV-1, anyone?

I also have the KV-1 and Cromwell models, and fully agree with previous comments - they're as good as Dragon products, and incredible for a manufacturer's first attempt.

Regarding the Cromwell, I'd very much appreciate if the upcoming Centaur and Cromwell variants could have their muzzle brake perforated (rather than painted with a black dot), and the tyres picked out in grey. That would make a very good model even better!

Well done, HM. Keep them coming!!

Re: KV-1, anyone?

Looks like the KV-1 is very popular. I just mamaged to snag one from Tankzone in the UK but they are already on limited stock there and they only got them in two weeks back.
