Much like T-34 chassis, KV platform was very prolific spawning a number of variants, especially SPGs affectionaly called "Zveroboi" by the Soviets (i.e. an "animal killer" in reference to German "large cats", Tiger and Panther). However, KV-2 is iconic in a sense that the number of photos (every German soldier in 1941 wanted to have his picture taken next to the Soviet monsters like T-35 and KV-2) and historical references related to this design far outpace its battlefield worth. So, it's not surprsing that Hobby Master chose to make KV-2 ahead of KV-1S, KV-85, ISU-122, and ISU-152

I'm really impressed by the look of that piece, and very, very impressed by the metal content coupled with the articulation - gun, turret and tracks in an actual *diecast* diecast tank. Fantastic!

Hey I just saw on http://www.diecast72.com/hm.asp pics of the other KV scheme and pics of their upcoming Cromwell and Centaur! YES! British armor! And they look...fantastic!
