T-55 pictures!!!

At last pictures of the upcoming T-55 by HM have been posted in the Hobbymastercollector website - http://www.hobbymastercollector.com/...T-55A-826.html.

The model seems accurate and has very good looks indeed... But, my oh my, what on earth are those blob-like plugs at the point where handrails meet the turret sides? Please, HM. The production version will not have these... er... "things", or will it?

Re: T-55 pictures!!!

Was the T-55 in WW2 or was it a strictly post-WW2 tank?

Well past WW II, not even close (almost 10 years after).

Thumbs up Re: T-55 pictures!!!

Definitely one I'll look to get. Very nice apart from the huge blobs.

I have pointed this out to Hobby Master, as this is a pre-production model I'm waiting for confirmation that the retail version will come without the blobs. I'm sure it will. It is nice to see people notice these things at this early stage. If I miss something I appreciate you guys pointing it out. I know Hobby Master appreciates it too.

Thank you very much for your perennial, kind help, hawkonevoodoo. We all in the armour clan are indebted to you for your priceless mediation near HM, I believe.

I've been waiting for ages for a T-54/T-55 model in this scale, and HM have done a fantastic job with this one. Those unsightly plugs are really a discordant note on this otherwise beautifully reproduced model.

Re: T-55 pictures!!!

i finally got a T-55A Polish version, the quality is amazing, as good as any Dragon Armor. i like the extra storage bins on the side of the turrets, the model feels really solid.
