Pics: Herpa F/A-18 Swordsmen

Just touched down at DiecastAce Field -- picked it up off of ebay last week for $16.... looks like it got in a dogfight on the way over as the starboard sidewinder is AWOL.... hmmmmmmmmmm.

Re: Pics: Herpa F/A-18 Swordsmen

very cool model. I am thinking they intentionally left off the second sidewinder, as that is a training sidewinder and I believe all you need is one to simulate one or both. I'll probably need David H. to follow up on that, but I've never seen a jet loaded with more than one.

(BTW you got a killer deal compared to what others on the bay are asking)

Yeah, I managed to score several different Herpa 1:200 warbirds for under $20 the last couple of months....

Thanks for the info on the sidewinder, the seller also thought it was missing and is sending me a spare... so either way, I'll be covered I guess. Be good to know one way or the other though. If one is correct, everyone else is doing 'em wrong.......

Pappy,
I've got this one and it only has one missle just like yours.
Either way this makes it more interesting.
