1:200 scale Airliners

Last edited by aradrom : 01-01-2008 at 08:04 PM.
Gentlemen,
I've got hooked on 1:200 scale airliners.
Herpa / Inflight 200 / Phoenix / Hogan.
WOW, small scale with incredible amount of detail and accuracy.
Check out these photo's

Thumbs up Re: 1:200 scale Airliners

I have bitten the bullet too. I currently own Hogan's AF Caravelle, Concorde, Super Constellation and JASDF YS-11 ; and Herpa's Lufthansa B727 and CV340 : Superb value for money !

I will certainly also purchase Phoenix BAF Carvair and Aeroflot TU134...

Have you tried 1/200 fighters ? If not, I suggest you the WAC range : they seem to be slightly better than Herpa.

Aren't they great....I'm collecting classic airliners as I'm planning to build a vintage airport in 1:200 scale.
I've been tempted many times to get the fighters in this scale but so far I held together... and didn't give in temptation.
I also own the BAF Carvair and I gotta tell you...it superseeds any quality standards I've seen...It's just amaizingly beautifull.
The TU134 is excellent. Ive seen one up close...I was tempted again...
