Gaso.Line 1:50 Scale M3A3 Stuart "Honey" Light Tank

Howdy all,

Gaso.Line is coming up with an 1:50 scale M3A3 Stuart "Honey" Light Tank in desert camouflage. Saw some on-line retailers taking pre-orders. Looks nicely detailed. I just love light tanks and recon vehicles. But priced at about US$150, I'm still think whether to get it or not.

That is a fine looking model, pretty steep price though. Probably the nicest looking Stuart model I have seen.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Gaso.Line 1:50 Scale M3A3 Stuart "Honey" Light Tank

I have their M3A5, which is really nice as well. I've always preferred the Honey, though, and in desert colours this might just be a must for me. Could you PM me as to where you saw it?

Gaso.line have done a really nice desert series anyway - their Italian tanks are excellent, and I suspect their Crusader is quite nice as well (although I'm not keen on the Verem tracks on that one). They are really pricey, but then again, who is going to do any of these (well allright, Altaya, but still)?

Re: Gaso.Line 1:50 Scale M3A3 Stuart "Honey" Light Tank

Yeah, I agree; Gaso.Line makes some outstanding armor in a good scale (1:50th) and some rare/unpopular tanks as well, but their prices are more than a K & C vehicle in 1:30 scale and you get usually 2 to 4 figs with K & C and we all know how unbelievable their vehicles and figs are!!

Looking forward to annoying the 'former' Florida Diecast Forum members!!

Sure, I saw it on the motor pool website and at least one more site which I can't seem to recall off hand right now.

Gaso.Line stuff are quite nice. I've only just got myself acquainted with their products. But the prices are also financially murderous.
For the moment, I think I am better off keeping to K&C, which theordore pointed out, offers better value for money.
