Re: Calling All Fans of M10 Wolverine Tank Destroyer!!

Hi Cruver Collector,

You can try rocousa.com. They stock quite a good range of Tamiya pre-builts in 1:48 scale. Prices are more reasonable. Their pre-built Panther Gs, Stug IIIs, Shermans and Jagdpanthers are going for a little shy of US$50 each. I have not bought from them so I am not sure of their shipping charges.

You can also try this this Hong Kong-based website called eTamiya.com. Good selection of Tamiya 1:48 pre-built armour. Most are going for around US$50. That's where I bought my M-10, a couple of Tiger Is (all in 1:48 scale) and an M1A2 Abrams in 1:35 scale. The Tigers cost around US$40. Shipping charges from Hong Kong to Singapore are also not too costly. However, I find that the prices on this website vary greatly. I paid US$120 or thereabouts for my Abrams, but the 1:35 Lepoard 2 A6 costs almost US$180.00, and the 1:35 King Tiger is selling for a whopping US193.00.

Hope that helps!

Paladin

Hey CC,

If you want excellent prices and a wide selection of 1/48th scale, Tamiya Masterworks' products, then I would agree with Paladin and use Roco USA, headquartered out of my home state of Florida:

Tamiya Masterwork

Tamiya produces some rare/unusual tanks and armored vehicles in 1/48th scale that Corgi or Solido has not made!!

Looking forward to annoying the 'former' Florida Diecast Forum members!!

I just noticed the carry Faller products too. Nice stuff for my Marklin layout.

Forgot to mention that the Michigan Toy Solder Co. also stocks Tamiya 1:48 scale pre-built tanks, but their prices are a little higher though, somewhere around US$70.00 to US$75.00 each.

Hi Paladin18,

Love this M10! Have you thought of adding stowed gear? I may just have to build one sometime.

Re: Calling All Fans of M10 Wolverine Tank Destroyer!!

Hi Ara1, I did think about adding on stowed gear initially, but gave up on the idea eventually as my modelling skills suck big time. Hence, I thought I should just stick with collecting diecasts and pre-builts.
