The figures and motorcycles are metal, other vehicles polyresin.

I collect the Bulge series, Afrika Corps, Waffen SS, Fall of Berlin, Fields of Battle and Crusaders.

The LAH series does seem to be quite popular. Of course it draws a lot of negative attention as well. They are some impressive figures though. They announced some new releases in that line a few weeks ago as well.

Hey Mikeb,

Glad you liked your order. Those are two good pieces. King & Country offers a great product that a lot of people aren't aware of. The toy soldier market really changed over the last 10 - 15 years. They went from the glossy toy soldiers to a realistic, detailed matte collectibles that they have today. I think as they get back in to the warbird line more that they will appeal to more of the diecast collectors.

I heard some discouraging information concerning the more reasonably priced King & Country Warbirds. It appears that K&C were not happy with the quality of work that the factory provided on their first attempt so it looks as if they are on an indefinite hold. The expensive ultra limited warbirds are still being produced but I haven't heard on anything new.

My favorite series are the BoB and Afrika Corp.

I also have most of the K-C Medival Knights which are 1/32.

JG Minatures makes some ultra realistic structures and bases for K-C military miniatures.
I have the BB bases shown below ( and some others ) and they really bring your military men to life.
