Re: New Mongoose Tanks and Troops

Here are some more pics of the latest offerings from Mongoose. For those of you who haven't read up on this stuff, the vehicles are made of resin. I don't know about the figures. Both figure sets and vehicle sets are fully painted.

Some of these items may enhance your displays of modern AFVs or planes. The scale looks like 1.72, and posts on this site which have checked the scale say that this is the case. The circular war-game bases may add enough hight to the figures to make them appear a little too tall.

Still, for those of you who are looking for painted figures this series may be worth considering.

Re: New Mongoose Tanks and Troops

Mongoose plan to release these in the near future :

( they have lots more pics on their site )

LYNX :

A " Zulfigar" MEA " Home Produced " MBT :

PLA EQ2050 Air Defence System :

USMC AH-1Z Super Cobra :

( Here's what they say : )

The addition of Hellfire II missiles and an anti-aircraft capability with Sidewinders ensure the Super Cobra continues to serve with honour in the USMC.

Fast and well-armoured, the Super Cobra is capable of either out-flanking or simply eliminating threats before launching its own lethal attacks. The 20mm cannon makes short work of both enemy infantry and light vehicles, while the Hellfire II missiles are potent anti-tank weapons. When the Super Cobra appears over the battlefield, enemies of the USMC are well-advised to turn tail and run.

plus :

EFTF German Leopard 2 140mm MBT

MEA Snipers & Revered Leader

PLA Sniper Teams

USMC Stinger Teams
