DiD has announced a new SdKfz 251 in 1:6 scale. This model will be of metal construction. They are anticipating making about 300 of them. There should be out in about 3 monthes. They will be offered in 5 camo colors: German Grey, Winter Grey, Ord. Yellow, SS camo, and Army camo. If you remember these are the same colors for their recent Kettenkrad.

The price is a little steep on this one. $999 Retail. We have it listed for preorder at $929. For this item a $500 non-refundable deposit is required.

Wow, that's pretty impessive. I'm pretty much a 1/72 guy but that is pretty tempting I must say, and I've never purchased nor planned on buying anything in 1/6 scale. If a motor could be attached to make it remote control, I'd be sold for sure.
