Third type. Camo scheme seems a bit odd!

Fourth type. This seems to be an Air Force type?

Re: 1.72 Jeep Types

This seems to be the last type, apart from the M.P. version. The M.P. version is the same as this, except that the registration letters are in light blue, and there is an extra reg. no. below the windshield.

Neat, ain't they? They seem to retail in the U.K. for $1.50 to £2.00 each.

Re: 1.72 Jeep Types

Here is a 1.72 Land Rover from the same company, to compare. These little vehicles can add depth to any diorama, cheaply

Re: 1.72 Jeep Types

Site where I got the shots of the Jeeps.

You can also find more Land Rovers in various liveries. Also, some civvy vehicles which can add to modern aircraft dioramas. I like the Morgan ( even though it's post-war, they still make them! ) but I wish that they would add some more earlier types in 1.72.

We all know that you would like to see some more types which could be added to a WW2 diorama, but which types would you add? Some Chevies which you might find on Hawaii in 1942? etc? 1.5 ton weapons carrier?
What would you ask Hongwell/Schuco/Cararama to add?

This is the version caused by a few drunk machanics that spilt some white paint fighting over some 2 bit dame on New Years Eve in '44 in the motor pool.

No, I think it's the result of a coke-bust in some desert sheikdom in 1954. Or, the jeep they used in " Operation Petticoat". Or, the jeep which Ensign Pulver may have used to "liberate" paint for his Captain.
