1/72 Tanks in 2007

2006 turned out to be a really good year for us 1/72 tank fans. We got a stuff from Dragon Armor, Altaya/IXO, Forces of Valor, Admiral Toys, and Easy Model (MRC). I am wondering what new tanks await us in 2007 and I am not talking repaints. We know Admiral Toys, who haven't posted in a while, is bringing out the following: Russian SU-85, Japanese Type-97, German 88, US M41 Walker, and a US 105. They also have listed the M-10 and British Crusader listed on their website. Hobby Master has apparantly slated a Cromwell and Russian KV-1 for release. Maybe Dragon will give us the long time announced Brumbar and Stug III! Altaya/IXO has stuff listed for release like a Panzer II and Matilda. I wonder if their tanks will soon be available like their planes here in the states.

Re: 1/72 Tanks in 2007

It's gonna be an expensive 2007, especially for German collectors (VAT raised by 3%). So I'll focus on pre-1945 vehicles only, and only the stuff which is not too exotic. Finally, I'll get rid of some less intersting older releases once better versions are available. Especially the Altaya tanks, seems there's going to be a SU-85 and Crusader by Admiral, KV-1 by HM, so I don't need the Altaya versions any longer. But there's still a lot of stuff left on my list with about 95% must-haves. SU-85, M10, Flak, 105mm, StuGs, Pz IIIM...isn't life hard??

I started limiting myself to 1945 and earlier stuff about a year ago. That alone has still been expensive!
