Cool Re: GMP Aleutian Tiger

Congrats!!!! It's a nice looking bird Pappy. It's much nicer than the other manufacturer's versions of it (at least from the pictures of the same scheme done by Corgi and FM that I've seen). I think you'll be well pleased.

I almost had Texas Longhorn for $26, but a fellow Hangar member snuffed me with less than a few seconds to go on Ebay (I believe it was 11SquadronLeader or however it's written), oh well, at least it went to a good home.

Hi Brunowbe - yep that was me!! With the new EBay bidder viewing it is impossible to see who you are up against. I had the first bid at $26 & ended up getting it for $36 which is great going. I had TL but sold it to a fellow collector who lives locally but decided to grab it to complete the GMP P-40 collection.

I just set up my Aleution P-40 in my office last week. Even though mine cost $79 + a heap of postage to get it downunder i'm thrilled with it. Of all of my 400 diecast aircraft i've decided that Old Exterminator is my overall favourite which is saying something

Anyway great score, best of luck with another crack at Texas Longhorn & enjoy the concert!

As I stated earlier, I'm glad it went to a fellow forum member. Congrats on the haul 11SQNLDR!!!

LOL -- I paid $100+ for my Longhorn, but at least I got it on Day One I suppose........

I placed the first bid at $29-95 & this baby was not getting away from me!! First up - best dressed!! Must admit this was my fourth attempt at getting one of these bargains from this guy.

Texas Longhorn P-40E Fighter Warhawk 1/35 GMP on eBay, also Vintage Pre-1970, Aircraft, Diecast, Toy Vehicles, Toys Hobbies (end time 12-Sep-08 03:41:00 BST)

This trader (ingopher) has been listing around 2 of these each week & normally short auctions too. Having said that he cannot have a limitless supply so those interested should form an orderly queue - behind our friend from Ohio

Wink Re: GMP Aleutian Tiger

Oi! How come you guys are getting this stuff so cheap? Gomotor doesn't post internationally. Am I missing something? Congrats to all the lucky ones.

Hi Sherwyn - this is not GoMotor. He trades as "ingopher" & is in fact the dealer listed also as ProStar.

From his EBay auction website he will ship to South Africa for $44-50 so I say go for it!!!!

I know him Stew, got a couple of GMPs off him already, thanks. The P40 I really want though is the first release, Old Exterminator. For these prices though, I'm in. I do like these GMP P40s.
