GMP RAF Kittyhawk

I just picked up this model for $52.00. Is this a good deal or did I get hosed? This is my first GMP and I'm not sure what to expect. How is their comparison to the 1/32 Corgi birds? Thanks.

Terrific deal! I paid $58.00 for mine and I consider it a bargain. Comparison to 1:32 Corgi birds? I think GMP's P-40s are the finest large scale diecast on the market.

You got a great deal for $52!
I have the Texas Longhorn P-40 and honestly, there is no equal. If this were in 1/32 scale, it would've blown Corgi out of the water, and speculation is, that is why these failed. Being 1/35 scale was "off the norm" in diecast and didn't sell well. However, as I eluded to before, I think you will be very pleased with your purchase.

Once it shows up at my door, I'll have pics up within a day or so.

Look forward to seeing your new find. So where are you going to put it? Bf 109 shelf looked kind of full.

Do GMPs have in flight stands?

That is an awfully good question, I'm currently trying to figure that one out (I believe that I have more room on the 109 shelf if I put more of them up on their stand, but again those spots are reserved for the last 2 109s I need). I have a floor speaker to the right of that shelf/entertainment center that may just become the place for the P40.

Running out of room is a good thing, means its time for some more shelves (With more shelves more planes).
