GMP going for nothing on the Bay??

Whats up with GMP, are they selling so poorly that distributors are dumping them for next to nothing?
Im seeing P-40's & Stangs on the bay well below dealer cost.
These are brand new models which on average are selling for just $50.
I know GMP makes are some of the best models on the Market, is this a case of the MSRP being too high form the get go?

I don't know about that. We've sold out of everything we could get our hands on. "Texas Longhorn" and "Big Beautiful Doll" are the only ones still available from the manufacturer.

Interesting.
I was going to stay away from ordering any GMP for the shop based on seeing these below cost on the bay.
Maybe somebody got a hold of a shops stock that went under.

That's just one guy whos dumping, I don't think that it's a sign of GMP's standing in the market.

True, the bay can be a very odd place when it comes to diecast, I guess it's never wise to judge anything by it.

Yeah the GMP seem to go quick @ my local shops... Really glad I got a Scott P-40 while the price was reasonable. I am soooo tempted by the "Longhorn" also though, "do I need 2 big 40's"?
I think big Beautiful doll is next though.

I'm actually interested in the P-40 at the prices they're bringing...will someone fill me in on the radio cables? Do you have to put them on or are they easy to break?

They come attached, and yes, they are easy to break -- the ones on my Longhorn broke off the tail at the point where they are attached, not sure why/how -- but I think my kids are involved somehow

Unfortunately, mine were broken out of the box - the tension was a bit too tight.

Re: GMP going for nothing on the Bay??

I probably gonna get some grief for asking this ? ....but is $94 a "good buy" for the T.L. P-40? Thanks!
