Missouri Armada Question

Just received the Missouri Armada GMP Aircraft, and noticed that it does not have the Radio Antenna or Wire running from tail into the canopy. Canopy is solid plastic so there is no cut in the canopy for the wire.

Has anyone out there with this paticular model have something similar. On all the promo photo's it shows the radio wire and Antenna on the upper fuselage.

Re: Missouri Armada Question

The pre-pro shots for this model had the antenna -- the production model does not. I believe it is an error on GMP's part. It is the only GMP Mustang that does not have either the wire or mast options...

Here's a pic of mine and a link to the rest of my GMP Mustang pics for reference.

Re: Missouri Armada Question

Missouri Armada is a fine example of an Olive Drab P51 Mustang - it has a unique look and presence when compared with its silver/polished brethren and is appealing in its own right .

Re: Missouri Armada Question

I got a email from GMP a little over a year ago i think it was about Missouri Armada P-51D Mustang Mast (antenna)they made and they told me it was a error made at the China factory. They were only suppose to take the radio cable off not the Mast
The Missouri Armada had the Mast on the P-51D in this photo.

Re: Missouri Armada Question

Thanks for the pic and info, JP! That pretty much verifies it for me.

It may be me but it's really hard to see the area the mast should be in in these pics -- JP's seem to show it has it

Re: Missouri Armada Question

I was talking about the wires with my pics. I wasn't sure about the mast.
