Re: Which GMP P-40?

Gorgeous picture....hmmmm I wonder where I've seen this one before? Anyway, I eagerly awaited HM's third issue Mk.XIV Maridor Spit w/invasion stripes to be displayed with the
JE_J Spit I already have.

Sorry for this off-topic...I forgot it's all about the GMP P-40 thread.

Re: Which GMP P-40?

It would have been great if GMP made a Spit or Corsair.

Keep'em flying.

Re: Which GMP P-40?

Normally I just collect the Corgi 1/32 stuff (15 so far) but after hearing that GMP were to stop production and went and got me a Longhorn (60 bucks off ebay). Just have to say that it has left me very impressed and now I'm also going to chase me down another so recommend away guys. Any big scale collectors out there still sat on the fence then IMHO, GMP has Corgi beat by a good ways.

Taff

Re: Which GMP P-40?

It was only a little off topic and the photo is awesome so I hope we can be forgiven 11SQNLDR.

Its good to mention the Kiwis work in the aviation field, there is some much good work being done.

Back to GMP, the only one I have not bought yet is the Aleution bird.
I said that I would only buy one GMP because of the lack of display space but they are just so good that I now have 3.
It seems silly not to go ahead and complete the set.

I think its also worth a mention that the Aleution campaign was a difficult and hard fought battle and sadly very much forgotten these days.

There, I have convinced myself I must have one so its back onto ebay again and have a search around.

God Bless America.

Jim - as a fellow Brit' = what do YOU consider to be a 'Reasonable' price for a GMP P.40, bought thru a UK-based 'dealer' ????????

I'm an E-bay 'veteran' - but, since my Divorce (& our 'account') going T**t's-up, I've not used E-bay.

Hence why I'd rather your opinion on what is a 'Fair-price' (or) 'Top-Dollar' from a UK. trader ????????

You can choose between the Aleutian Tiger or the RAF Kittyhawk with the shark mouth motiff! Either way you choose it's a win-win situation!!!
