GMP diorama cover

Anyone have the glass cover for the 1:35 fighter diorama? Do you recommend it, if so... I'm considering getting one but the fact that it costs more ($70) than the model ($40), and for that matter, three of my last GMP airplanes, is a bit of a brain twister

Re: GMP diorama cover

I have one for both my Pacific and ETO scenes, and I think that they really finish it out. They look great.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: GMP diorama cover

I know I am a bit late to the game on this, but does anyone know where to get one, or have a diorama cover than want to let go. I set up my diorama the only place I have space, which happens to be right next to my saltwater aquarium. Needless to say, I have no great desire to get dry saltwater all over my diorama. Suggestions?

I'll second that, and be second in line for one. Are their two out there?

Re: GMP diorama cover

Are these covers glass or plexi? I would think you could take the dio to your local glass place and have one made for less than $70

My father in law works at such a place and I'd just bet.....
