Pics: "Marie" P-51D

Probably be a while until I get to posting a review on the site, but I did get the photos taken a little while ago -- I like the scheme, and the pilot history is interesting, too.

Pappy, you're pictures look professional! They're awesome! BTW, nice Mustang. Do you have any other GMP's and if so, how does "Marie" compare?

Re: Pics: "Marie" P-51D

Thanks Trex (it's an evolutionary process for sure!) -- and yes, I have several which you can see on my site, here:

http://www.diecastace.com/GMP_ww2_index.html

(I'm missing Petie and GG -- but have the rest.)

It's about the same as all that have come before -- other than the lack of the wire antenna (which I don't believe it's supposed to have) it's pretty much the same as the rest in terms of features and fit and finish (no book is included, either). I just like the scheme, and the scale, and GMP in general so I picked it up on sale. (I got it, and the RAF P-40 for $150 delivered -- we'll see how long those prices hold up as "good" though..)

That is one purty Stang, Pappy. Mighty tempting to me... and I don't even have BBD yet!

$150 for both! Wow! I'm after the same two now and the prices are pretty steep. Very cool P51 scheme. Not common at all.
