Re: Most sort after GMP model

For me it would be the "OLD CROW" and "Big Beautiful Doll" because of it's pilot(s) history and aircraft nose art recognition factor.

Petie the 3rd seems to be quite hard to get. Harder that Cripes Almighty, which is very close in looks and came out ealier.

Old crow and Glam Glen III are using the same trick as the 2 blue nosers, both very close in looks apart from a few additional markings. Old Crow seems about as hard to get as Petie 3rd.

Glam Glen III was in stock in the UK , up to a couple of weeks ago.

BBD is still available, but an edition of 500 is going to make it rare quick. However, the Corgi BBD gives it a run for its money.

My favorite is Petie the 3rd, just from looks.

Question Re: Most sought after GMP model

OK, so it seems the most sought after GMPs are P51D Mustangs. What about the P40s. Which is the best one?

I would have to say 'Texas Longhorn' although the desert Kittyhawk and 'Old Exterminator' are also excellent .

Re: Most sought after GMP model

P-40 Old Exterminator is the coolest. For the P-51's, I would say Old Crow.
